Tomorrow: The Roosevelt Bull Moose Festival!

Those of you in the greenlake neighborhood should be right close by, so I'm X-posting from the seattle community...

Looking for things to do tomorrow? Come to the Bull Moose Festival in the Roosevelt neighborhood!

A complete schedule can be found at the Bull Moose Festival's Boring website, but some highlights
:

At Cavalry Christian Assembly (6801 Roosevelt way)
8am-11am: Pirate Pancake Breakfast!
Join the Seafair pirates for a cheap pancake breakfast and pinewood derby racing. $3/ Individual, $10 per family, with benefits going to the American Cancer Society.

11am-3pm: The Solid Rock Cruisers custom car show
Check out the classic cars and live entertainment! FREE!!!

At Roosevelt High School (1410 NE 65th)
3pm- 7pm: Whole Foods Market Summer Taste Fair
Come sample foods sold at the Whole Foods market without breaking the bank. First 500 visitors get a free green tote bag to fill up with those little chocolate milk packs that Horizon Organic passes out (if you can keep convincing them that this is your first time through the taste fair). FREE!!!

6pm- 9pm: Bull Moose Blues Festival
Three blues bands in three hours, hosted by KPLU's own Page Hansen. The Mukilteo Coffee All-Stars, the Two Scoops combo, and the headliner: Stickshift Annie with Kimball and the Fugitives.

Starting at Pies and Pints (1215 NE 65th)
9pm- 1am: Vincent Gallapaga Memorial pub crawl
In memory of one of the co-founders of Pies and Pints, we'll drink our way through Teddy's Tavern, the Atlantic Crossing, and Die Bierstube, enjoying specials all the way. Pies and Pints has all-day happy hour, Teddy's Tavern has a free Moose Drool glass with the purchase of a pint (limit two per customer), and we'll see what the Crossing and Bierstube have in store. Come celebrate with... beer! Also, I'll be bringing the world's best Moose-related pub game.

Suitable parking for many of the events can be found at the 65th street Park N' Pool (Under I-5 at 65th) or the QFC lot (on 66th, between Roosevelt and 12th). Come on by!
